You don’t know what you don’t know…
You are moving around with more technology in your pocket than most engineers had access to in a lab just fifteen years ago. Color displays, touch sensitive screens, and stereo sound – and those are just the “skin-deep” features. Think of the memory, the processor speed and the ubiquitous connectivity, and we’re talking serious brains to go with these beautiful objects we casually toss in our pockets and purses - our cell phones!
But increasing reliance on these devices means that we continue to spend more and more money in our efforts to stay connected, and presumably, more productive. (Proving or disproving causality between the two can be a subject of later musings.)
Not feeling in control is perhaps the most unsettling of all feelings. So whether our company pays our cell phone bill or it comes out of our own pocket, not knowing how much is being spent on mobile services is bound to gnaw away at the conscience, and eventually the Quicken register (or budget spreadsheet) of the person that pays for it each month.
Entire companies have been built around our “need to know” and need to “be in control”, and with Mobility Central, we bring to enterprises a really innovative way to track, manage and control what is fast becoming an increasingly visible line item on corporate budgets – money spent on all things mobile! Watch this corner as we ruffle through our bag of tricks, tinker with our motley tools, mull our years of wisdom, learn from our battle scars (and mix our merry metaphors) to bring you MobilityCentral!
